Dr. Natalia Tintaru (Tsyntsaru in publications) completed her PhD in electrochemistry at the Institute of Applied Physics (IAP), R. Moldova in 2007. After her research on termokinetics phenomena during electrodeposition of alloys at the same institute, as a Marie Curie Fellow, she joined the KU Leuven, Belgium in 2010, where she carried out her research on tribological, mechanical, corrosion properties of Co-W alloys, including anodization of aluminum.
This led to the elaboration of multifunctional coatings/materials that could be proposed for versatile applications. Currently, Dr. N. Tsyntsaru have a position of the leading scientific researcher at the Institute of Applied Physics (IAP’s coordinator of the H2020 project “SMARTELECTRODES”) and Vilnius University (where she is developing her research under ESF project). |
