This proiject aimed the design, synthesis, structural study and comprehensive evaluation of optical properties of hybrid MOMs based on transition metals, Zn(II), Cd(II), Cu(II), Mn(II,III) and Co(II) with an emphasis on the non-centrosymmetric CPs having the advantages of the porosity of the coordination network, possibility to reveal a luminescence response to the guest inclusion, and high thermal stability. The molecular quadratic hyperpolarizabilities were measured in chloroform solution by the solution-phase direct current electric-field-induced second harmonic (EFISH) generation method, which provided direct information on the intrinsic molecular NLO properties, and in the solid state, through the Kurtz-Perry technique, which provided the NLO response at macroscopic level. |
